Why Separate Commercial Manure?

Raw slurry is a heavy liability. Separated solid fractions become a highly valuable, manageable asset.

100%

Bedding Replacement

Stop purchasing expensive sand or sawdust. The extruded solids are fluffy, odorless, and perfectly suited for Recycled Manure Solids (RMS) bedding in freestalls.

20%

Volume Reduction

Removing the solid fraction massively reduces lagoon footprint requirements. Eliminates crust formation and slashes mechanical agitation costs.

Hourly Throughput

Engineered for immense capacity with minimal power draw (5.5kW). Handles heavy continuous flow from scrapers or flush systems effortlessly.

Screw Press Extrusion Mechanism

Maximum Dewatering. Minimal Maintenance.

Our extrusion technology relies on a progressively tightening reinforced screw shaft to physically squeeze liquid out of the manure against a precision-cut stainless steel screen. This achieves an extremely dry solid output suitable for immediate stacking and composting, unlike simple gravity filters.

AISI 304 Stainless Steel

Both the screw shaft and screen mesh are forged from 304 SS for maximum acid and corrosion resistance.

Adjustable Output

Control the exact moisture level of output solids simply by adjusting the mechanical counter-weight system.

Heavy-Duty Housing

Spherulitic graphite iron body guarantees structural integrity under immense internal extrusion pressure.

Self-Cleaning Action

The internal screw continuously wipes the screen surface, preventing blockage even with high-fiber inputs.

Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) & Value Guide

Manure separation is a revenue-generating investment. Understand the economic impact on your dairy.

1. Eliminating Bedding Costs (OpEx)

Purchasing sand, sawdust, or straw represents a massive ongoing operational expense. By extracting the fibrous solids from your own herd's waste, you create a limitless supply of high-comfort Recycled Manure Solids (RMS).

RMS is highly absorbent and provides excellent cushioning in freestalls, directly replacing purchased materials and drastically shortening the CapEx payback period.

2. Lagoon Infrastructure Savings

Raw slurry builds up heavy bottom sludge and top crusts in lagoons, requiring aggressive, energy-intensive mechanical agitation before pumping. By removing the solids beforehand, the resulting liquid fraction remains fluid, preventing crusting, preserving lagoon capacity, and allowing for completely clog-free pipeline irrigation.

3. Fertilizer Commercialization

For farms without the land base to utilize all their waste, the extruded solids present a new revenue stream. Odorless and stackable, these solids are easily composted, bagged, and sold to neighboring crop farms or commercial gardening operations as high-value organic fertilizer base.

Technical Frequently Asked Questions

Expert technical answers for your waste management planning.

How dry is the output solid?
Typically, the solids reach 40-50% dry matter content. The exact dryness can be adjusted using the mechanical counter-weight mechanism on the discharge outlet. It is dry enough to pile instantly without leaching liquid, making it completely odorless and ready for composting.
Does the stainless steel screen clog easily?
No. The internal screw drive continuously wipes the inside of the 304 SS screen, physically preventing blockage during operation. We do recommend periodic flushing of the system with clean water after use to maintain peak long-term performance.
Can the separator handle sand bedding manure?
Sand is highly abrasive and causes faster wear on standard screens and screws. If you currently use sand bedding on your farm, please inform us during quotation. We will configure your unit with a specialized wear-resistant hardened screw shaft and reinforced screen designed specifically for heavy-sand environments.
What is the expected maintenance schedule?
Maintenance is straightforward and minimal. Routine checks involve lubricating the heavy-duty gearbox, inspecting the screen mesh for wear (typically replaced every 1-2 years depending on usage intensity and sand presence), and running a water flush after heavy operations.
