Structural Engineering Advantages

Bypass the massive capital costs of brick-and-mortar extensions with purpose-built external infrastructure.

0

No Indoor Expansion

External 2.0mm stainless steel cladding defends against heavy rain, high wind loads, and UV radiation, freeing up your valuable indoor facility space.

< 1.5°C

Temp Rise / 24h

A 100mm high-density polyurethane (PU) foam barrier isolates the inner vessel, ensuring strict milk temperature retention even during 40°C summer heatwaves.

Complete Drainage

The vertical conical base guarantees complete gravity discharge into transport tankers, minimizing residual milk loss and ensuring perfect CIP hygiene.

The "Alcove" Interface

The silo penetrates the building wall. Operators manage the digital control panel, agitator, and butterfly discharge valve from inside the climate-controlled milk room.

Dimple Plate Cooling Jacket

Laser-welded honeycomb cooling jacket on the lower walls. Highly efficient heat exchange, fully compatible with Freon or Glycol lines for maintenance cooling.

T-Type Auto CIP

Integrated high-impact orbital rotary spray balls. Connects to your central washing station for total hygienic coverage (acid/alkaline) with zero manual entry.

Air Security System

Equipped with an anti-vacuum breathable hood. Strictly prevents tank implosion or structural deformation during rapid hot CIP cleaning cycles.

Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) & Planning Guide

Evaluate the footprint requirements and structural CapEx savings before finalizing your dairy's civil engineering blueprints.

1. Eliminating Building Expansion Costs

Storing 50 to 120 Tons of milk indoors requires a massive, climate-controlled, sanitary room with industrial drainage. Expanding a building to house standard horizontal tanks incurs heavy structural, roofing, and flooring CapEx. An outdoor silo completely bypasses this, requiring only an exterior concrete pad and a simple wall penetration.

2. Civil Engineering & Foundation Loads

Because fully loaded silos are exceptionally heavy (a 120T silo weighs over 120,000 kg) and are subject to high wind shear, a professionally engineered reinforced concrete foundation is mandatory.

NexAgri provides exact civil engineering CAD drawings specifying rebar density, concrete grade, and bolt-pattern templates to your local contractors immediately upon order, allowing the pad to cure during manufacturing.

3. Global Shipping & Site Logistics

Silos up to 40T can typically ship in Open Top or Flat Rack containers. For capacities of 50T - 120T, they are shipped as Break Bulk cargo. Depending on destination port constraints, NexAgri can also ship pre-fabricated plates to be professionally welded on-site by our dispatched engineers.

Technical Frequently Asked Questions

Expert technical answers to help you plan your commercial storage setup.

What are the foundation requirements for a 120-Ton Silo?
Because a fully loaded 120-Ton silo weighs over 120,000 kg, it requires a professionally engineered reinforced concrete foundation. We provide exact civil engineering CAD drawings specifying rebar density, concrete grade, and bolt-pattern templates to your local contractors to ensure absolute structural safety against wind and seismic loads.
How is the alcove interface designed?
The silo is erected immediately adjacent to your milk room wall. A specifically sized rectangular opening is made in the wall. The silo features a protruding "alcove" that seals flush into this opening. This means all critical components—the outlet valve, temperature displays, sampling ports, and agitator controls—are accessed from *inside* the climate-controlled milk room.
Will the milk freeze in winter or overheat in direct summer sunlight?
No. The entire inner vessel is encapsulated in 100mm of high-density polyurethane (PU) foam, isolating it from external temperatures. Additionally, the outer shell is highly reflective. In our field data, temperature fluctuation remains below 1.5°C over a 24-hour period regardless of external extremes. In severe winters, an electric heating band can be installed on the outlet valve.
Do you handle the dispatch and installation?
Yes. Large commercial silos are shipped via flat rack containers or special break-bulk transport. NexAgri deploys senior installation engineers to your site. They coordinate the heavy lifting (cranes), ensure precision anchoring to the pad, manage the alcove sealing, and perform final CIP and refrigeration commissioning alongside your team.
