Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) & Logistics Planning

Evaluate how custom engineering prevents mechanical wear and protects your raw milk value.

1. Capital Expenditure (CapEx) & Import Strategy

For international buyers, the "Bare Tank" strategy is often the most lucrative. Whole commercial trucks often incur import duties exceeding 30-50%. By importing only the stainless steel tank (classified as agricultural equipment), duties are typically minimized.

You can purchase a reliable commercial chassis locally, and our engineers will manufacture the tank's skid base to perfectly align with your local truck's mounting points.

2. Fleet Wear & Suspension Lifespan

A 20,000L tank carries 20 tons of shifting mass. Without proper internal baffling, the kinetic shock applied to the truck's braking and suspension systems during rural driving causes premature mechanical failure.

NexAgri's compartmentalized anti-surge plates neutralize this force, drastically reducing your annual fleet maintenance costs and enhancing driver safety.

3. CIP Automation & Driver Efficiency

Manual tank washing costs valuable logistics time. By utilizing the integrated CIP network, drivers simply connect a hose at the processing plant. A complete, hospital-grade sanitation cycle finishes in under 20 minutes without manual labor, allowing trucks to complete more collection rounds per day.

Technical Frequently Asked Questions

Expert answers to help you plan your milk transport logistics.

Can I buy just the bare tank without the truck?
Absolutely. Many of our international B2B clients prefer this to avoid high vehicle import taxes. We manufacture the bare tank with a pre-welded, heavy-duty skid base. Once it arrives at your port, you can use a crane to easily lift it and mount it onto your own local Isuzu, Tata, or Hino chassis.
Does the transport tank have an active cooling compressor?
No, commercial transport tanks rely on thick polyurethane insulation rather than active cooling compressors. You must pre-cool your milk to 4°C in a stationary farm cooling tank before loading it. Once loaded, our tanks will maintain that cold temperature with less than a 1°C rise over 24 hours.
What are anti-surge baffles and why are they critical?
When transporting liquid, sudden braking or turning causes the milk to crash forward or sideways (the "surge effect"), which can flip the truck. Our internal anti-surge baffle plates act as rigid walls to break up this kinetic energy, making the vehicle stable and safe to drive. They are standard on all our transport tanks.
How do I clean a tank that is permanently mounted on a truck?
All our tanks are equipped with an internal CIP (Clean-In-Place) pipeline network and 360° rotating spray balls. Upon arriving at the dairy processing plant and unloading the milk, you simply connect the plant's CIP hose to the external valve on the tank. The automated system pumps cleaning fluids to wash the tank thoroughly without any manual interior scrubbing.
